Let’s Celebrate 365, our stunning photographic exhibition from Jeremy Hunter launched on Thu 24 Feb and was opened by Labour MP Peter Soulsby. Attendees at the launch event were treated to an introduction to the exhibition by Jeremy Hunter, as well authentic thai cuisine suitably themed and kindly provided by Lanna Thai restaurant.
Jeremy’ exhibition explores the world’s cultures through festivals and celebrations, if you haven’t already you can still view the exhibition in the Cafe Bar and DMU Cube at Phoenix Square.
In support of the exhibition Jeremy will be holding a talk on Monday 14 March, this talk provides an opportunity to journey through the many cultures shown in the exhibition and, most importantly, better understand the extraordinary diversity of beliefs practiced in the world.
Tickets for the talks have sold out but Jeremy has kindly provided us with some fantastic video footage (see below) from a selection of the festivals that he has visited, bringing to life the stunning photos that you see in his exhibition.
